Function

The top gimbal board is responsible for transmitting video for live FPV feed, which was previously prepared and compressed by Camera encoder board. It also controls the gimbal, and contains first of 3 gimbal motor drivers.

Programming

Chips Firmware Description
DSPIC33 gimbal arm Firmware Gimbal yaw control; reads yaw arm position potentiometer and supplies control signal to the motor driver circuit. Pre-programmed and not included in firmware updates.
STM32F407 m0400 Gimbal master control; provides gimbal arm microcontrollers with proper signals to ensure stabilization and responsiveness to user commands.
AR9312 m0700 Creates Wi-Fi hosts. Transfers video feed and data packets between the drone and connected client.
