Function

The Live View encoder board is responsible for preparing digital video signal for live FPV feed. It encodes the video and sends the stream to WiFi board.

The board contains DM3xx series media processor which does the encoding and controls input and output lines. All other components on the board are just supplemental chips required by DM3xx to work.

Variants

Service interfaces

The following service pads exist on this board:

Marking Overview
TP1 UART_TX; 3.3V UART of DM3xx chip, Transmit line; allows access to UBoot and DaVinci Linux console
TP2 UART_RX; 3.3V UART of DM3xx chip, Receive line
TP3 GND; Ground, connected connected to all other ground pads
TP4 1.2V power for the DM3xx chip
TP5 5V
TP6
TP7 1.8V power for the DM3xx chip
TP8 3V(power)
TP10 3.3V
FD1
BSEL Boot Select pin of DM3xx chip does not exist as service pad, but is accessible at a specific resistor on the board (middle one in three parallel resistors - you can figure out details using the photo with chip de-soldered)
