Function

The Gimbal Driver Pitch board contains ICs to drive the Pitch Motor.

Variants

Only 2 variants were created for Phantom 2 gimbals; newer ones were designated for Phantom 3.

Programming

Chips Firmware Description
DSPIC33 gimbal arm Firmware Gimbal pitch control; reads pitch arm position potentiometer and supplies control signal to the motor driver circuit. Pre-programmed and not included in firmware updates.

External interfaces

There are two connectors on the board:

Service interfaces

The service pads marking and placement is identical to the WM320 Gimbal driver roll board.
