This guide organizes learning around input data, constraint configuration, execution flow, output, business interpretation, and adjustment. The Wiki currently provides one complete walkthrough and connects data, planning, scheduling, and validation topics into a practical sequence.
For case reading and exercises before execution, start with the Learning Center, particularly Topic D: Read Plans through Recorded Cases. The lessons distinguish worked exercises from recorded runs and link to configuration details and worksheets.
- Quick Start: start the Web cockpit and complete the first-run checks.
- End-to-End Scenario Walkthrough: select a SolverReady dataset and complete baseline, adjustment, and rerun.
- Value Validation and Adoption Framework: turn evidence into a Go, Adjust, or Stop decision.
- Standardized Data Interface: understand order, product, route, capacity, material, and time relationships.
- ERP/MES Data Mapping Guide: map source-system data into computable business semantics.
- Data Readiness and Validation: distinguish readable fields, closed relationships, and SolverReady status.
- Objectives and Rule Control: separate structural constraints, objective preferences, and shop-floor rules.
- Planning and Scheduling Overview: understand responsibilities across planning levels.
- Results, Evidence, and Feedback: move from aggregate metrics to orders, work centers, and tasks.
- Trusted Operation and Human Review: define where automated execution ends and accountable approval begins.
| Topic | Current entry | Status |
|---|---|---|
| End-to-end baseline and rerun | End-to-End Scenario Walkthrough | Published |
| Master planning and scheduling | Planning overview and Scenario Lab | Guidance and runnable datasets available |
| Operation-level BOM and material readiness | Data interface and Scenario Lab | Guidance and runnable datasets available |
| Shared resources, maintenance, and shifts | Scenario Lab and field descriptions | Topic tutorials in progress |
| Planning linkage and disturbance response | Planning overview and feedback guide | Topic tutorials in progress |
After a complete run, a reader should be able to explain what business data entered the scenario, which constraints and objectives were active, how the run was organized, how outputs should be interpreted, what improved or degraded after adjustment, and which decisions still require accountable human review.
- Stamping planning case: orders, capacity, operation-level materials, and kitting in workshop planning.
- Injection-molding scheduling case: mapped attributes, batch checks, and changeover rules in circular-sequence scheduling.
