  • SimMobility Short-term (ST) is an integrated microscopic mobility simulator. By integrated, we mean the nature of its models, input/outputs, simulated components and code-base that is specifically design to be integrated within a multiscale agent- and activity-based simulation platform. By microscopic, we mean that both the demand (agents and its vehicles) and the supply (their movement on the network) are microscopic. Finally, by mobility, we emphasis on the multimodality of current and the need for a capability of flexible simulation of innovative transportation services such as on-demand and smart mobility solutions.
  • SimMobility ST aims at simulating the movement of agents (traffic, transit, pedestrians and goods) and the decisions and operation of control centers, within one day. It also allows for a modular integration of specific behaviors associated with new mobility services and transportation modes. Its modelling framework and system architecture are presented here in Wiki, reporting its successful calibration for Singapore and its use in several mobility applications.
