Dungeons Delight

Minecraft 1.20.1 / Forge: this page documents that build and its measurements. For the separate 170-control Minecraft 1.21.1 port, see Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge.

One control for Dungeons Delight 1.2.10 (mod id dungeonsdelight), a fix: a Monster Yam's summoned zombie is added to the world once on Hard, not twice. The switch checks the code it would change against the tested build; another build is left untouched with one WARN line (see How the patches are applied).

Mixin: YamSingleAddMixin

Dungeons Delight: a Monster Yam's summoned zombie is added to the world once on Hard, not twice. On Hard difficulty the Monster Yam added each rotten zombie it summons to the world a second time. The second attempt can never succeed, but it still ran every mod's "entity joined the world" handlers again for a zombie that was already there (and the add hooks of mods such as Cupboard, Radium and Valkyrien Skies), and then logged "UUID of added entity already exists". The second attempt is now skipped when the first one added that zombie; if the first one was refused, the second still runs as before. Below Hard nothing changes.

Measured: offline: the Monster Yam's own tick routes its two adds through the fix in order; over 256 summon loops (every first-add outcome, Hard and not, switch on and off) the second add was skipped exactly after a successful first add.
