Background: Entertainer
You were born for an audience, or you found one and never looked back. You know how to hold a room: the timing of a joke, the hush before the high note, the tumble that looks like an accident and lands like a promise. You have played to drunk sailors and bored nobles and children who had never seen a coin spent on wonder, and you learned that the right performance can lift a room's sorrow, or its silver, or just its attention for one shining hour. The road is hard on performers, but you would rather be booed than forgotten, and you have never once wanted the quiet life.
Give you a stage, a crate, or a cleared corner of a common room, and you can earn your keep: a meal, a bed, a few coins, and the goodwill of a crowd that came in strangers and leaves knowing your name. A performer who pleases is remembered, and being remembered has a way of finding you work, and trouble: an admirer with a request, a rival who wants you gone, a patron who needs a message carried somewhere only a minstrel can go unremarked. So take your bow, and always leave them wanting more: a face a crowd cheers for is worth more than a full purse on the road, and it opens doors that stay shut to strangers.
