Species: Dwarves
Dwarves. We remember. Our people ruled the world once. Then the Great Mountain fell, the Guilded Era ended with it, and the dwarves spread out across the world instead, carrying their ledgers and their grudges.
Metal is holy to our people. Everything we dwarves ever built, we built while chasing it: the mines, the bank-cathedrals, the fleets, and the long terrible expeditions. Others call it greed. They do not understand. Gold never corrupts. A gilded prayer to our Saints and Ancestors will never weaken.
What holds now is the clan. Come back home with enough gold, and your clan will hail you as a hero, no matter your past transgressions.
Think, adventurer: what will you do with the gold you carry home? Raise a shrine to a Saint? Open a Bank Temple? Or spend it on spices and mead?

Forging Your Legend
Dwarves are resilient, honorable, and driven by deep traditions (or determined to defy them). Whether you're a stoic smith, a wandering philosopher, or a gold-souled tactician, playing a dwarf means wielding willpower like a forgehammer.
- Do you uphold your clan’s legacy? or forge a new one?
- Do you hoard, spend, or protect the sacred gold?
- Is your soul metal a burden, or your guiding star?
- What metal is your soul made from?
- What clan or company do you hail from?
- Do you follow dwarven traditions or reject them?
- What does gold mean to you?
- What invention or creation are you most proud of? or ashamed of?
- Loyalty to Kin
- Duty and Legacy
- Innovation vs. Tradition — some dwarves forge, some preserve.
