Keyboard and mouse script functions

Also on the Cuebot Docs site.

Functions for C# (Cb.Call) and Python (cb.call). See Script functions for how to use them.

input.keyPress

Presses keys on your keyboard for you, in the app that is in front. On Linux your desktop asks once for permission. Fails with an error when the keys cannot be read or sent.

Value What to put in
keys The keys to press, like "Ctrl+Shift+F1". Split several with commas, like "Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V". SendKeys text like "^c" or "{ENTER}" works too.

Gives back: true when the keys were pressed.

C#

var answer = await Cb.Call("input.keyPress", new { keys = "Ctrl+Shift+F1" });

Python

answer = cb.call("input.keyPress", keys="Ctrl+Shift+F1")

input.status

Tells you how Cuebot presses keys and watches mouse clicks on this computer, and whether that works.

Gives back: keyboard (the key pressing method), keyboardStatus, mouse (the mouse click method) and mouseStatus, all as text.

C#

var answer = await Cb.Call("input.status");

Python

answer = cb.call("input.status")
