Now playing triggers

Song changed

Runs when a new song starts in your music player or on Spotify. Great for a "Now playing: …" message in chat. Tick "Watch what plays" on the Music page first.

Setting	What to put in
Player	Only react to one player: type part of its name, like spotify or vlc. Leave it empty to react to every player.

Variables you get

Variable	What it holds
%title%	The song's name, like "Never Gonna Give You Up"
%artist%	Who sings or plays it, like "Rick Astley" (several artists are joined with commas)
%album%	The album the song is on (empty when the player does not say)
%player%	The player it plays in, like Spotify, VLC or Firefox
%artUrl%	A link to the cover picture, when the player gives one
%duration%	How long the song is, in seconds (0 when unknown)
%durationText%	How long the song is, written like 3:45
%link%	A web link to the song (Spotify songs only)
%source%	"system" for a player on this computer, "spotify" for your Spotify account
%nowPlaying.title%	The same values again with nowPlaying. in front, so the same message works with the "Get now playing" step
