Diagnostics and repair commands for server operators. These permissions are separate from civilization leadership.

This wiki documents Civilizations 1.0.1. Numbers are bundled defaults; in-game menus and previews show your server’s current values.

Every administrator command requires civilizations.admin. The permission shown below is the additional permission required for a mutating or reload operation.

Command Additional permission Purpose
/civ admin help none Show only the administrator commands the sender may use.
/civ admin reload civilizations.admin.reload Reload messages.yml and validate config.yml; gameplay, database, integration, and catalog changes require restart.
/civ admin inspect civ <name | id> none Compare cached and persisted civilization state.
/civ admin inspect claim [world-uuid x z] none Inspect the current or specified chunk claim.
/civ admin inspect player <player | uuid> none Inspect membership and related persisted state.
/civ admin inspect war <id> none Inspect a campaign and its cached identity.
/civ admin setrole <player> <leader | advisor | citizen> civilizations.admin.data Repair a role while preserving the single-leader invariant.
/civ admin forceclaim <civilization> civilizations.admin.data Assign the current chunk with a warning GUI and an audit entry.
/civ admin forceunclaim civilizations.admin.data Remove the current claim with a connectivity/capital warning GUI and an audit entry.
/civ admin grantresource <civ> <key> <tier> <signed-amount> civilizations.admin.data Adjust a validated civic-resource balance.
/civ admin grantknowledge <civ> <signed-amount> civilizations.admin.data Adjust Knowledge without allowing a negative balance.
/civ admin research <unlock | lock> <civ> <technology> [confirm] civilizations.admin.data Repair research/unlock state with dependency warnings.
/civ admin war <cancel | resolve> <id> [confirm] [reason] civilizations.admin.war Repair a campaign and record the stated reason.
/civ admin war setstate <id> <state> [confirm] civilizations.admin.war Override campaign state after preview.
/civ admin audit [filters] none Query audit entries using civ=, actor=, action=, target=TYPE:ID, since=, before=, page=, and size=.
/civ admin migrate none Report database product, schema version/checksum, required tables, and warnings. It does not run a manual migration.
/civ admin invariants none Run the read-only invariant scanner immediately.

High-risk repairs show warnings before continuing. In-game administrators receive the same green/red confirmation GUI; console operators append confirm because a console cannot open an inventory. Administrator changes are durable and audited.
