Classes

Every subclass now unlocks at Level 3 for unified progression across the board.

Barbarian: gets Brutal Strike at Level 9 — forgo Reckless Attack's Advantage to apply devastating combat effects instead. Instinctive Pounce lets you move when you rage.

Bard: recovers Bardic Inspiration on a Short Rest from Level 5. Font of Inspiration changes the whole pacing of how you support your party.

Cleric: chooses a Divine Order at Level 1 — Protector or Thaumaturge — before you even pick a subclass.

Druid: gets Wild Resurgence at Level 5: spend a spell slot to get Wild Shape back, or burn Wild Shape to recover a spell slot.

Fighter: gains a full Tactical suite — Tactical Mind, Tactical Shift, Tactical Master — turning Second Wind from a panic button into a genuine tactical resource.

Monk: replaces Ki with Monk's Focus, gains Uncanny Metabolism on Initiative rolls, and Deflect Attacks at Level 3 that lets you redirect incoming damage as a thrown projectile.

Paladin: Divine Smite is now a prepared spell, limiting nova turns to a deliberate choice.

Ranger: gets a reworked Favored Enemy at Level 1 and Roving at Level 6 for permanent speed bonuses and climbing/swimming movement.

Rogue: gains Cunning Strike at Level 5 — spend Sneak Attack dice to apply effects: Poison, Trip, Daze, Withdraw, Knock Out.

Sorcerer: enters Innate Sorcery at Level 1 as a bonus action — boosted spell save DC, Advantage on concentration. Sorcery Incarnate at Level 7 makes Metamagic cheaper while active.

Warlock: gets Eldritch Invocations at Level 1 with 20+ available options including all three Pacts. Magical Cunning at Level 2 recovers half your Pact slots on a Short Rest.

Wizard: gains Ritual Adept at Level 2 — cast any ritual from your spellbook without preparing it. Scholar gives expertise in your academic skill of choice.
