BG3 was built on D&D 2014 rules. BG3 WITH THIS MOD runs on the official 2024 Player's Handbook.
This mod is a complete overhaul of Baldur's Gate 3's ruleset to match the 2024 Player's Handbook (One D&D / 5.5e). Every mechanic, class, and feat has been rebuilt from the ground up — not patched on top of the original, but rewritten.

Every base class has been rebuilt from scratch to match the 2024 PHB — not patched, rebuilt. Three brand new classes have also been added.

All backgrounds updated to the 2024 PHB format — each now grants its Origin Feat, two skill proficiencies, and a starting equipment package.

The monsters you face play by the same rules you do — rebuilt for 2024.

- Worg — Action resources corrected across all variants
This section expands with every update as more creatures are brought to 2024 standards.
80+ feats spanning five sourcebooks, all revised for the 2024 design philosophy.

Hundreds of spells revised to their 2024 versions. Key changes include:
- Concentration removed from several spells (Barkskin, Wrathful Smite, Searing Smite, Spiritual Weapon, Magic Weapon, Stoneskin, Thunderous Smite)
- Sleep, True Strike, Vicious Mockery, Witch Bolt fully redesigned
- Summoning spells overhauled (Summon Beast, Summon Fey)
- New spells added: Steel Wind Strike, Mind Sliver, and more

Spell scrolls now enforce class restrictions matching the 2024 PHB. Each scroll can only be used by classes that have the spell on their list.
- 50+ spells with specific class restrictions implemented
- Wizard-list proxies — Arcane Trickster, Eldritch Knight, Gunslinger (Spellslinger), Illrigger (Architect of Ruin), and Monster Hunter gain access to Wizard-list scrolls at Level 3+
- Unlisted spells remain freely usable by any character
Magic items updated and new items added:
