19 Work Path and Group Setup

One conversation ↔ one work path (D59)

Workdir binding unit is the conversation; members share it; write lease serializes writers (08-Workdir).

Onboarding directory question

After the first interview answer and before any LLM call, core deterministically inserts a “working directory” question (choose folder / skip). While the gate is closed, user messages only persist; after answer, buffered messages + directory decision enter the first response run.

Group / project creation

D60 four-question in-chat group create was removed. Project create is a two-round picker (lead, then members; Butler excluded). Goal and workdir are edited afterward on the project detail page (41-Project-Team §11.1).
