Local IMAP/SMTP channel (not MCP). Extension Center → Mail tab. Auth codes in secrets. IDLE when CAPABILITY allows, else poll (vendor presets: QQ/Gmail prefer IDLE; 163/126 poll + IMAP ID).
Multiple Bots may bind one mailbox; new mail fans out to each Bot’s DM. Host tools mail_*; bodies marked <untrusted> + taint; sends need approval. Do not use schedule to replace host fetch.
