Attachments upload to disk; send passes attachmentIds on messages.send (no draft pre-attach stage after D86). Detach before send via attachments.detach.

Inline render

Images thumbnails; audio/video click-to-play; lightbox zoom. Mime shown on context attachment lines.

Generation tools

generate_speech / generate_video (submit+poll); products sent as attachments via send_message.

Vision channel

Trigger-batch images enter as image parts when the model supports vision (≤4 images, ≤5MB each); otherwise text lines remain.
