Supply Drop

In short: Supply drops land at random across the devices, siren blaring. Hold your team's colour to claim one before it's gone. Most drops claimed wins.

SUPPLY DROP is a CLASSIFIED mission (Clearance). Place the devices around the field. During the game, supply drops are announced one at a time on a random device: its siren sounds until the drop is claimed or lost, so teams have to race to it.

Solo, one device announces every drop. In multiplayer the drops move between the devices, never the same device twice in a row. The plan is shared at the start, so every device knows when its drops are due even if its link to the host drops out mid-game.

Setup

  1. GAME DURATION
  2. PLAYERS (when hosting with devices joined)
  3. NUMBER OF TEAMS: 2–4
  4. TEAM COLOURS: which of your colours play (see Controller)
  5. SUPPLY DROPS:
    • DROPS: how many drops in the game (1–20)
    • OPEN FOR: how long each drop can be claimed (10–300 seconds)
    • HOLD TO CLAIM: how long a team must hold to claim it (1–30 seconds)
  6. READY

The drops must fit in the game: if they don't, TACT says how many fit.

Playing

  • Between drops a device shows STANDBY with how many drops have been announced so far.
  • When a drop lands, the device shows SUPPLY DROP, the siren starts and a countdown shows when the drop closes.
  • Hold your team's tile (or your team's button on the controller) for the hold time to claim it. A bar fills while you hold; let go and it drains at half speed, so you can pick it back up.
  • OVERTIME: if the drop's time runs out while a team is still holding, it stays open (CLAIM IT OR LOSE IT) until they finish or let go.
  • CLAIMED BY (team) or DROP LOST shows for a few seconds, then the device goes back to STANDBY.

Winning

The team that claims the most drops wins. No drops claimed at all is a draw.

Stats

STATS keeps each game's drops claimed per team and the quickest claim, plus all-time totals. Linked devices show their live drop state on the phone remote.
