History

The vineyard was planted with old-clone Chardonnay in the 1970s by Bob and Annamaria Roudon, and was one of the sources of the Roudon-Smithestate Chardonnay. When Annamaria died and Bob retired the vineyard was sold to long time employee, Cesar Ramirez.
