Privacy and Security
GameAtlas performs most processing locally. It does not operate advertising, analytics, telemetry, or user-tracking services and does not automatically upload your game library, hardware inventory, saves, configurations, captures, or diagnostics to a GameAtlas server.
Features can inspect installed-game and launcher metadata, executables, game files, saves, configurations, Proton/Wine prefixes, hardware, displays, controllers, processes, logs, crash evidence, and mod archives.
Local application state can include preferences, manual games, notes, ratings, tags, launch profiles, cached public metadata, backups, performance captures, diagnostics exports, and Linux managed-mod data.
Operational output and exported support bundles can contain game names, process names, installed software, or local paths. Review a bundle before sharing it.
Depending on the feature, GameAtlas can connect directly to PCGamingWiki, Steam, GitHub, Nexus Mods, ReShade, and public RenoDX, Luma, or Vortex resources. Those providers receive ordinary connection data and apply their own policies.
Personal Nexus API keys and short-lived NXM download credentials remain in process memory. They are not written to disk or intentionally included in logs and are cleared on disconnect, successful handling or dismissal as applicable, or application exit.
Uninstalling the application may not delete app data, backups, performance captures, or VortexMods directories. Delete those local files separately when they are no longer needed.
