Articles Plugin
Articles lets authorized users publish text-based content in AVideo's shared content catalog. An article can appear alongside videos, but it has no video stream to encode or play.
Enable the plugin, create a disposable article from the content/video manager, add a title/category/body and test its active/privacy status while signed out. Sanitize pasted formatting and never paste scripts or untrusted embed code into an article.
- Why does it appear in a video list? AVideo uses one catalog for several content types.
- Can users publish articles? Only when their normal content/upload permissions and plugin settings allow it.
- Are article images backed up? Include uploaded media and the database in backup/restore tests.
