Plugins add optional features such as subscriptions, pay-per-view, advertising, live events, mobile access, and remote storage. This page matches the technical name shown in Plugin Manager with its public guide.

Before installing or changing a plugin, read Installing a plugin. Enable only the features you need, configure one at a time, and test with a normal viewer account. Current licensed products are listed in the Plugin Marketplace.

Some private, customer-specific, test, or licensed plugin directories intentionally have no public wiki page. Their documentation is supplied through the appropriate product or project channel and they are not listed here.

Plugin controls in the UI

UI control	What it normally does
Enable/Activate	Loads the plugin feature
Edit parameters/gear	Opens saved plugin settings
A named button such as Edit, Plans, or Status	Opens that plugin's working screen
Button in Video Manager	Applies the feature to one selected video
User-group permission	Allows selected non-administrators to use a feature
Viewer/player control	Appears only when content, permission, and plugin requirements are met

Menu labels can vary by version and theme. If a guide says Admin → Plugins, start from the administrator area, find the plugin row, then use the action described in that guide.

Common questions

Do I need to enable every plugin?

No. Most installations need only a small selection. Enable a plugin when you need its feature, read its prerequisites first and test it before enabling another one.

Why is a plugin listed but unavailable on my site?

The plugin may be sold or distributed separately, may require a license, may depend on another plugin, or may not be included in your installed AVideo version. Check the guide and the Plugin Manager before planning around it.

Why does an enabled plugin still not work?

An enabled plugin may still need credentials, permissions, database tables, a scheduled task, another plugin, or an external service. Recheck its settings and dependencies, then review How to find errors. Do not reset it until you have recorded its settings and made a backup.

Can I disable a plugin safely?

Usually, disabling is safer than resetting or removing it. First check whether users, payments, storage, login, live streaming, or scheduled work currently depend on it. Disabling a storage, login, or payment plugin without a migration plan can make content or accounts inaccessible.
