Group Recovery lets you extend your Second Wind heal to nearby allies. Team Tactics at Level 7 adds Advantage on all D20 Tests to each ally healed by Group Recovery until the start of your next turn. Rallying Surge at Level 10 shares Action Surge with nearby allies.

Playstyle Notes

The Banneret is the party-recovery Fighter — a support-oriented martial subclass. Group Recovery at Level 3 converts the Fighter's Short-Rest Second Wind into both a self-heal and an ally heal simultaneously. The number of allies healed scales with Charisma modifier, making Charisma a secondary stat worth investing in.

Knightly Envoy's four Expertise boosts give the Banneret strong social utility — Expertise in Persuasion, Intimidation, and Insight covers all three major social encounters, while Performance adds versatility.

Team Tactics at Level 7 adds a free Advantage buff on all D20 Tests (attacks, ability checks, saves) to every ally you heal with Group Recovery. The turn after using Group Recovery, each healed ally has Advantage on everything — potentially swinging multiple consecutive critical hits.

Rallying Surge at Level 10 is the defining feature: when you use Action Surge, you can share it with multiple allies. The number of allies is Charisma modifier — with +3 Charisma, three allies all gain Action Surge simultaneously. An entire party using Action Surge on the same turn is often a fight-ending sequence.

The Banneret rewards Strength + Charisma builds — two stats it would use simultaneously from Strength (attacks and Saving Throws) and Charisma (Group Recovery and Rallying Surge scaling).
