Subclass Illrigger Shadowmaster

The Shadowmaster is an Illrigger subclass built around single-target elimination. Its Interdict grants Advantage on every attack against the marked target, converts that Advantage into bonus damage, and at higher levels adds damage rerolls, a garrote, and full darkness mastery.

You have Advantage on attack rolls against Interdicted creatures.
Once per turn, when you hit an Interdicted creature with a melee weapon attack and you have Advantage on the attack roll, you can roll a number of d4s equal to your Proficiency Bonus and deal extra damage equal to the total.
Marked for Death supplies the Advantage, so against your marked target this bonus is effectively always available once per turn.
As a Bonus Action, you wrap a shadow rope around a creature's throat and begin Garrotting it.
Whenever you roll a 1 or 2 on a die to determine the damage of your weapon attacks against Interdicted creatures, you can reroll the die.
You gain the following benefits:
- Darkvision out to 60 feet (or +60 feet if you already have it)
- You can see normally in darkness, both magical and nonmagical
- Your Speed increases by 10 feet
- Advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made to hide
- When you make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage on a success and half damage on a failure
The Shadowmaster is a single-target elimination specialist: the Interdict is both the mark and the payload.
Your combat identity:
- Baleful Interdict — mark the kill target; every other feature keys off it
- Marked for Death — permanent Advantage against the mark, which also feeds Sneak-Attack-style reliability into seal burns
- Strike from the Dark — once per turn, Proficiency Bonus d4s of extra damage on a melee hit with Advantage
- Hell's Assassin at Level 7 — reroll 1s and 2s on damage dice against the mark
- Umbral Killer at Level 11 — darkness vision, +10 Speed, Stealth Advantage, and Evasion-style Dexterity saves
