Known Limitations
Neo is a real-time processing application, so behavior can depend heavily on Windows, GPU drivers, the source application, and the selected filters.
HDR processing/output is not currently supported as a normal mode. Use SDR when evaluating expected image quality.
Windows Graphics Capture cannot guarantee identical behavior for every application. Special protected surfaces, unusual overlays, or application-specific presentation paths can prevent normal capture.
Not every ONNX model is directly compatible. A model must have a graph and input/output behavior that Neo understands.
RIFE and other interpolation methods can fail around subtitles, UI, scene cuts, disocclusion, transparent objects, or very fast motion.
CRT Beam simulation depends on accurate high-refresh presentation. A high-Hz monitor does not automatically guarantee perfect results if frame pacing is unstable.
The displayed FPS is limited by the slowest relevant part of the capture → processing → presentation pipeline.
NVIDIA, AMD, and integrated-GPU driver behavior can differ. A path that is fastest on one system may not be fastest on another.
