Community Hub

The Community Hub applies curated FastFlag presets from a catalog hosted in this repository.

Rendering only. These presets change visual rendering settings. They make no FPS, power or network-latency promises.

Presets

Three presets ship in the bundled catalog:

Preset FIntDebugForceMSAASamples DFIntDebugFRMQualityLevelOverride
Competitive / Low Latency 1 8
Cinematic / High Fidelity 4 21
Potato PC / Power Saver 1 1
Preset Intent
Competitive / Low Latency Lower anti-aliasing, moderate render quality. Visual overhead only — no network latency or FPS guarantee
Cinematic / High Fidelity Higher anti-aliasing and render quality. May increase GPU work. Networking unchanged
Potato PC / Power Saver Minimal render quality and anti-aliasing. No measured power saving or FPS promise

The preset name "Competitive / Low Latency" describes the rendering configuration. It does not change your network routing, your ping, or Roblox's tick rate. That is not something a FastFlag can do.

Preview, apply, restore

The flow is deliberately explicit:

  1. Select a preset. Nothing changes.
  2. Preview. The exact flag-by-flag diff is shown.
  3. Apply previewed preset… — with a confirmation: "Save the previewed preset now? Unrelated flags remain unchanged."
  4. Restart Roblox to use the values.

To undo, press Restore previous values. This is conflict-aware: if you hand-edited a flag after applying a preset, restoring will not silently clobber your later change — GokuTrap tells you instead.

Applying an already-applied preset reports "Preset already applied; no values changed."

The catalog

Refreshing

Refresh repository catalog fetches the catalog over HTTPS from this repository and validates it.

Source What you see
Repository HTTPS catalog Fetched and schema-validated
Last validated repository catalog Loaded from the cache when the network fails
Bundled offline catalog Ships with the application, always available
"Last valid catalog loaded. Refresh to check for new data." Cache is older than the bundled version

Validation performed

Before any remote data is used, GokuTrap checks:

  • Schema version matches what it understands.
  • Size is within a 256 KiB cap. The response is read with response-header streaming and a bounded read time so a slow or enormous body cannot hang the app.
  • Redirects stay on HTTPS. A redirect to a non-HTTPS host is refused.
  • Duplicate preset or flag keys are rejected outright.
  • Known keys and ranges only. The catalog may only set FIntDebugForceMSAASamples (1–4) and DFIntDebugFRMQualityLevelOverride (1–21) — the two flags on Roblox's published local-configuration allowlist.
  • Catalog version and refresh time are persisted immediately, so a later failure cannot lose the fact that a refresh happened.

When a refresh fails

GokuTrap keeps the last valid catalog and your current flags, and says so: "Catalog unavailable or invalid; last valid catalog and current flags preserved."

Offline, HTTP 404 and rate-limited responses all fall back safely. Nothing is cleared on failure.

Safety

Property Behaviour
Text from the catalog Rendered as untrusted plain text. It cannot inject markup or script
Explanations of what a flag does Provided locally by GokuTrap, not fetched from the network
Unrelated flags Never touched
Failure to parse No partial application

Roblox may ignore these flags

Roblox's published allowlist for local client configuration was reviewed on 2026-10-05 and includes both flags used here. But:

  • Behaviour depends on your client version and renderer.
  • Roblox may ignore or remove a flag at any time.

Test your visuals after restarting. If a preset appears to do nothing, that is the allowlist, not a bug in GokuTrap. See Platform-Limits.
