Launcher Interface

GokuTrap has two main windows: the small launch menu you see on startup, and the full settings window. Roblox itself is started by a third, bootstrapper window whose style you choose.

Launch menu

The compact window shown when GokuTrap starts. See Launch-Menu for its actions.

Settings window

Opened from the launch menu ("Configure settings") or the tray icon. It has three regions.

Navigation pane (left)

Item Page
Integrations Integrations
Saiyan & feature tools Feature-Tools-Overview
Bootstrapper Bootstrapper-Behaviour
Deployment Deployment-and-Channel
Mods Mods
FastFlags FastFlags
Global settings Global-Basic-Settings
Appearance Appearance
Shortcuts Desktop-Shortcuts
About Opens the about window (see About)

A hidden FastFlag editor entry is also present; it appears only when you explicitly choose to open it, because it writes arbitrary engine flags.

Content pane (right)

The selected page. Pages that do long-running work — the catalog, radar, accounts and updates — run asynchronously and show loading, empty and error states rather than freezing the window.

Footer buttons

Button Effect
Save and launch Saves settings, then starts Roblox
Save Saves settings

Important The footer Save button saves the ordinary launcher settings. The tools under Saiyan & feature tools have their own Save & apply / Apply buttons which persist immediately, because each one changes live state. You do not need to press the footer Save to keep a feature-tool change.

Settings window search

The settings window can search options, but its search index is built from OptionControl items. Controls that are plain buttons, combo boxes or custom panels — including each individual tab inside the feature tools page — are reached by navigation rather than by typing. If a search comes up empty, navigate to the page directly.

About window

Reached from the navigation pane. Contains the GokuTrap version, links to the repository, Discord and licences, and pages listing contributors, supporters and translators. See About.

Tray and background behaviour

  • GokuTrap can minimise to the notification area depending on your window settings.
  • Background updates (in Bootstrapper-Behaviour) let Roblox update in the background instead of blocking your launch. It needs at least 3 GB of free disk space and is not recommended on slow connections.
  • Let Roblox run in the background (in Integrations) is a Roblox-side setting, not a GokuTrap one — it lets the Roblox desktop app start with Windows and stay in the notification area after you close it.
