Several characters

The model draws everyone you mention and easily mixes up who does what. The easier the characters are to tell apart, the less confusion. Full examples — «Three in the shot» and «Two-person dialogue» in «Presets».

How many

Two or three. The more people with their own actions, the more often the model mixes up who does what. Describe a crowd as background, without features: blurred passers-by in the background.

Distinct features

Sex, age, hair, clothing color — so the characters can't be confused.

✗ Worse: a man and a woman

✓ Better: a tall bald man in a black leather jacket and a young woman with a red bob in a yellow raincoat

Who stands where

Place the characters: on the left, on the right, in the middle, in the foreground, in the background. That makes it easier for each to stay in place.

Who does what

Start every timeline line with whoever acts, and call them by a feature: The man in the grey coat…, The red-haired woman…. The pronouns he and she confuse the model when two people are of the same sex.

Only them

Add to the scene's place: Only these two people are in the scene, nobody else. — otherwise the model may add someone else.

Who speaks

Lines in turns, each with its speaker's feature and a voice description (the «Speech and dialogue» section).

In the storyboard

The «Several» mode on the Idea screen does this for you: each scene has «Who's in the scene» checkboxes, and only the looks of the checked characters go into the prompt.
