The check mark
Storyboard · Русский · Contents
After the script, code checks every scene. What fails, the Writer rewrites once by itself; if that doesn't work, the scene gets the mark, and the remark shows on the card. A scene with the mark can still be shot: it's a warning, not a ban.
- The English prompt contains Cyrillic letters.
- Not 1–3 actions, an action too short or too long, or several actions joined by «then».
- Walking without a direction toward the camera — people may walk backwards; toward and away from the camera in one scene.
- The actions mention a character who isn't in the scene's cast — they won't be in the shot.
- It isn't said how the scene ends — the next one has nothing to start from.
- No description of the scene in your language.
- Lines longer than fit in the scene; a line for a character who isn't in the scene.
- The prompt is empty (a scene with its own prompt).
- A continuation moves to another place — there'll be an abrupt cut.
- A new scene doesn't describe the place; it isn't said who is in the scene.
- There will be text, a sign or lettering in the shot.
- The clothes change.
- A person turned up in a video without people.
- The scene starts from a photo, but the Writer hasn't seen it.
- The style or the look is described too briefly; clothing got into the look description.
- Adults only.
In the clip: … — after shooting, every new scene is also checked by the clip itself (about a second): black frames, «frozen», a jump inside the scene, a smear or a sharp change, the face not matching the start, in a clip from a song — «not singing» (the lips are still while the voice sounds). The serious ones — black, frozen, jump, long smear, «not singing» — are reshot once with another seed, and the take with fewer problems goes into the video. The rest is a line on the card, «In the clip: frozen for 2.5 s»: look at that spot yourself.
