2019 Goals

• Recurse Center Pairing Exercises
• Some portion of my DIY Master's of Engineering in Engineering Management
• Apply for at least 5 conference talks
• Prep a resume for 18F
• I'm curious about these things, but know little about them. I want to create learning materials for these topics:
  • Bits and bytes
    • MB, TB, PB
  • rpc
  • HDD vs. SDD
  • Network interface cards (NICs)
  • IP Tables
  • CIDR blocks
  • Service mesh
  • TCP/IP
  • OSI Model/ Networking at each level
  • Open SSL
  • 'idempotent'
  • TLS and certificate authorities
• Transcribe at least 1 song, and play it from memory
• Some currently undefined home goals
• Start using budgeting software to get a better handle on my spending habits and mid-term financial goals
