Settings: Active DoTs
The separate mob bar shows your supported active damage-over-time effects grouped by enemy, with spell icons and remaining times. Up to eight active enemy cards are visible. Empty/expired aura displays do not intentionally reserve idle cards.
| Setting | Purpose | Fresh default |
|---|---|---|
| Active DoT mob bar | Enable the active-aura bar. | On |
| Estimated remaining DoT damage | Add approximate damage left and a finish indicator. | On |
Both switches are account-wide. The bar position is saved per character, while its size uses the shared reminder scale. Use Move and the labelled Move DoT bar handle outside combat, then lock it.
The character master and the General mounted/resting/dead hide rules also affect this bar. Taxi travel suppresses it.
This is the bundled 1.19.4 catalogue, not a promise that every listed spell is available to every character. Learned-spell checks and client aura visibility still apply.
| Class | Families in the catalogue |
|---|---|
| Warlock | Corruption, Immolate, Bane of Agony, Siphon Life, Wrack |
| Priest | Shadow Word: Pain, Devouring Plague, Holy Fire |
| Shaman | Flame Shock |
| Warrior | Rend |
| Rogue | Garrote, Rupture |
| Druid | Moonfire, Entangling Roots, Insect Swarm, Rake, Rip, Pounce, Lacerate |
| Hunter | Serpent Sting, Lacerate |
| Mage | Fireball, Pyroblast, Frostfire Bolt |
There is no Paladin family in this catalogue. Hunter Lacerate is conditional on a supported learned spell. Ground effects, traps, channels, proc-only effects and unproven Vampiric Touch are not blanket-supported.
Icons and remaining times use the client's supported native active-aura display.
Estimated damage left uses tracked casts and a model based on available spell descriptions/catalogue values. It is not measured future damage and does not include a spell's initial direct-hit portion.
| Display | Meaning |
|---|---|
| ≈ number | Estimated periodic damage still to come. |
| May finish | The estimate may cover the target's current health. Not a guaranteed kill. |
| Needs more | The available estimate is below the target's current health. |
| — | A usable damage estimate is unavailable. |
Resists, dispels, healing, absorbs, talents, gear and target modifiers can change the outcome. Finisher combo points, stack counts and ambiguous cast targets can also affect accuracy.
Disabling prediction does not disable the native icons/timers.
Multi-enemy tracking depends on available target/nameplate units. Enemies no longer observable through those units cannot be verified as still affected. This is not a persistent offscreen combat-log database.
Reloading clears cast-estimate history. Reapplying a supported DoT can populate a fresh estimate even when an older active aura still has a native timer.
Mobs with the same name are not meant to share one estimate, but an ambiguous name-only macro/cast event cannot always establish a unique recipient.
Clicking a DoT card does not target its mob. There are no click-to-cast or automatic targeting actions on these cards.
Some protected layout changes are deferred until combat ends. A layout update waiting for combat to finish is different from the DoT timer stopping.
