Settings footer: Report bug

The built-in form prepares a report for you to send. It does not automatically send email or upload a report.

Send a useful report

  1. Open /fsrsettings and select Report bug.
  2. Choose Bug report or Suggestion.
  3. Describe the issue or request. For a bug, include what you expected, what happened and how to reproduce it.
  4. Paste the full Lua error when relevant.
  5. Select Prepare & select report while the relevant state/settings are present.
  6. Press Ctrl+C, then paste the text into an email to miniremindersupport@gmail.com.

The report text area supports scrolling and text selection. Drafts stay in memory only; copy the report before reloading.

What is included automatically?

The generated report includes addon name/version, game/build/interface, client/addon language, class/level, layout/scale/positioning, enabled/locked status, current combat/mounted/resting/dead/taxi/group state, selected API-availability checks and known tracking/preferences relevant to the current class.

This is a snapshot when the report is generated, not a continuous recording or automatic error log.

Privacy

The automatic diagnostics do not deliberately add character name, realm, exact frame coordinates, other characters' settings or an unrestricted dump of SavedVariables.

Your own description, pasted error and screenshots can still contain identifying information. Review them before posting publicly or sending.

No password, login token or account credential is needed.

Useful extra context

For a nameplate problem, mention whether enemy nameplates were visible and which target/form/stance you used. For a map issue, include the map, destination and click action. For a layout problem, include a real screenshot and whether you changed layout/scale during combat.

A report can also be shared through the project's support channels, but the Wiki does not assume an unverified issue-tracker URL.
