Open Shaman in /fsrsettings. This page covers shipped 1.19.4 behaviour, including Water Shield.

Elemental Shield

Preference What it means
Any learned shield Accept a supported learned Lightning / Water Shield. Default.
Lightning Shield Track the Lightning Shield family.
Water Shield Track the Water Shield family when learned.
Off Disable shield tracking.

The active display can show icon, name, remaining duration and three charge dots. Compact places the dots vertically next to the icon; the last charge is emphasised.

Changing the shield preference triggers a UI reload in this build. The change is blocked during combat. Make it outside combat rather than during an encounter.

Weapons

Weapon imbues covers the main hand. Off-hand weapon imbue is a separate reminder for an applicable off-hand weapon.

The supported family includes Rockbiter, Flametongue, Frostbrand and Windfury. Another occupied temporary-enchant slot is not deliberately treated as an empty weapon slot. The addon does not choose your best imbue or replace an enchant automatically.

Profession weapon enhancements are separate, bag-aware checks.

Totems

Placed totems retain lifetime timers outside combat. Missing-totem reminders appear during combat.

Supported buff totems additionally check whether their effect covers the player. A live totem timer and player buff coverage are different things. Damage and cleansing totems are not treated as missing player buffs simply because they do not grant one.

Element colouring distinguishes the totem categories.

Resources and DoTs

Player health warns below 30% outside combat; mana warns below 30%, including supported combat display. Eating/drinking suppresses applicable preparation warnings.

Flame Shock is supported by the separate Active DoTs bar. Damage estimates there are not part of shield or totem logic.

The ordinary Shaman reminder switches default on. Turn off individual families rather than disabling the entire character master.
