Black Ridge Vineyards consists of 21 acres of Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Petite Verdot, Viognier, Pinot Grigio and Malbec grapes. The winery is located on an 70 acre ranch that first grew grapes in the late 1800s. Sometime before Prohibition the vines were replaced with prune trees. In the 1960s the property became a Christmas tree farm, but soon afterwards the farm house burned to the ground and was never rebuilt.
