Overview

House of Domenico is family-owned hospitality group including Cal-Italian winery, vineyards, Osteria restaurant, two tasting rooms, and event production company across two Northern California locations.

History

Dominick Chirichillo learned winemaking from grandfather Domenico Giovinazzo in New York (1955). Moved from East Coast amateur competitions to commercial winemaking in Northern California. Started 1977, first commercial vintage 1992.

Member Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers Association.

Locations

San Carlos - Urban winery, Osteria restaurant & tasting room, event space (up to 850 guests). Restaurant hours: Wed-Fri 5-9pm, Sat 5-9pm, Sun 11am-6pm.

Amador Estate - Sierra Foothills location, modern Estate House, tastings, private events (up to 450 guests).
