The servers, backups and exports folders are chosen once, after the first sign-in, and can be changed in Craft Conductor settings → Folders (which moves what's there). Each of them has a short README.txt saying what's in it. At first they're:
C:\Users\you\craft-conductor\
servers\ the servers folder
<server>\ one folder per server, named after it
craft-conductor.toml its settings in Craft Conductor
server\ Minecraft: the world, mods or plugins, server.properties
backups\ its backups (when there's no backups folder)
manual-downloads\ mods downloaded by hand from CurseForge
.craft-conductor\ what Craft Conductor remembers about it (logs, reports)
exports\ the exports folder
<server>\<name> <date>.craft-conductor.zip
.craft-conductor\ Craft Conductor's own settings (below)
A backups folder, when you choose one, holds one folder per server with its backups: <backups folder>\<server>\<date>-<label>.tar.gz, and a note for each.
-
Your servers: the servers folder above, one folder per server. Each has
craft-conductor.toml(its settings),server/(Minecraft, the world and mods) and its backups. If you editcraft-conductor.tomlby hand while Craft Conductor runs, it reads the file again within a few seconds (a file with a mistake in it is ignored, and the log says so); settings that apply when the server starts, like memory and the port, take effect at its next start. -
Craft Conductor's own settings:
craft-conductor/.craft-conductor/(sign-in, the people you invited and their paired phones, friends' certificate, CurseForge key and Discord token; readable only by your account, on Windows too; withbackup.key, which locks backups' passwords, keys and logs to this computer and account: deleting it can't be undone, and backups made before then restore without their locked part). Passwords and PINs are kept only as hashes. A server'scraft-conductor.tomlandserver.propertiesare readable only by your account too once they hold a secret (a Discord webhook, a CurseForge key, the friends' invite secret, an RCON password), and so are server exports. -
Shared Java:
craft-conductor/.craft-conductor/java/, one folder per Java version and release, used by every server on this computer (/data/.craft-conductor/java/in Docker). Backups and server exports leave Java out. -
Friends' setups: a folder of their own per launcher; their extras and joined servers are remembered in
.minecraft/craft-conductor/.
This page is the user manual that comes with Craft Conductor (Help → User manual in the app). It's made from manual.md: change it there, not here.
