A compact radio that is limited by its USB link, not by the chip.
- Over its USB cable a PlutoSDR streams about 4 Msps: enough for DAB, FM and narrow modes, too little for a 6 to 8 MHz TV channel.
- Tezuka firmware is detected, CS8 / CS16 formats are offered, and the native 64 / 7 Msps rate is used for 8 MHz DVB-T / T2 (0.2.3).
- USB Plutos are found even when libiio cannot scan the network.
- The library is not included on macOS yet.
Pick Add network radio..., choose PlutoSDR by IP and type 192.168.2.1 (its USB network) or its address on your network. A Pluto on a real network is offered its full sample rate; how much arrives depends on the network. The sample buffer is sized by rate on network radios (0.2.6).
The Link setting (Auto, USB or Ethernet) lifts the USB rate cap (0.2.6).
A PlutoSDR can transmit through libiio, see Transmit.
