If a radio has a SoapySDR module, OnAir can usually use it.
SoapySDR is a common driver layer. When a SoapySDR module for your radio is installed, the radio appears in OnAir's source list and works like the others; how well it works depends on the module and the radio. OnAir builds with SoapySDR as an option (DECT2_WITH_SOAPY).
- A Mirics MSi2500 "RSP1A clone" is not seen by the SDRplay API: use SoapySDR's
mirisdrmodule. - LimeSDR, bladeRF and USRP can transmit only through their SoapySDR module (see Transmit).
- A SoapyFobosSDR module built with Visual Studio cannot be loaded by OnAir's Windows build; use the native Fobos driver.
- Radios on another computer: SoapyRemote.
RFNM is not a radio OnAir lists or has a native driver for. Whether it works depends on a SoapySDR module for it; this has not been verified. If you try it, tell us on Discord.
