Tuios
With several coding agents running at once, the person supervising loses track of which one is waiting on an approval or has failed. tuios is a Go terminal window manager (MIT, v0.8.5) with tiling panes, nine workspaces and sessions that survive restarts and reboots. It detects 24 agent CLIs and reports state for 19 harnesses, including Claude Code and Codex.
The outcome is a single place to supervise agents. One Inbox collects approvals, questions, errors and finished tasks across sessions and machines, so the user can answer without navigating to each pane. Sessions keep their structure, working directories and startup commands, and agents can resume interrupted conversations after a restart.
The project is mature for its category. It was created on 2025-09-06, has about 5k stars and more than 3,600 commits, 35 open issues, and receives daily pushes. It requires a true-color terminal, and its sixel image support is experimental. It is distributed through Homebrew, Arch AUR, Nix and pre-built binaries for Linux, macOS, Windows, FreeBSD and OpenBSD.
It sits among other tools for supervising several agents at once, including Herdr, Conductor, AgentsView and the ParallelCodingAgentsTmux technique, which achieves a similar layout by hand with tmux.
tuios sits in Assess. It has strong adoption and active maintenance, but there is no first-person use behind it.
