Open Configure > Display currency. Automatic (provider / Home Assistant) chooses the appropriate label from the provider/site configuration. An explicit currency is a display preference for clients; it does not exchange or convert underlying prices, rewrite the tariff, or change optimizer economics.
Enter rates in the unit displayed by the provider form, such as c/kWh or p/kWh. PowerSync stores and normalizes prices for its calculations internally. A daily supply charge is a daily fixed amount, not an energy rate; check the currency/day label. Do not multiply a tariff to compensate for a display-currency change.
Save the preference and allow the integration reload. Confirm the currency label in a connected client and check that current provider rates are still correct. For rate changes use Electricity pricing & provider, not this preference.
The tables use the current form labels and help text. They list the conditional field union: a field can be hidden for a different battery, provider, route or available integration. The instructions above explain those conditions. Existing saved/discovered values take precedence over fresh fallbacks. Rate units follow the provider; check the displayed currency/energy unit.
