Updates and maintenance

Open Configure > Advanced settings > PowerSync auto-update. Enable scheduled auto-update and Update time (HH:MM) control PowerSync's scheduled HACS update. The scheduled action installs an available PowerSync HACS update and restarts Home Assistant, so choose a suitable local time.

The PowerSync auto-update control entity toggles the same feature; it is not a second update service. HACS must be available. A scheduled time, an available update and an installed running version are different states.

After an update/restart, check Home Assistant startup health and the loaded PowerSync version, then fresh telemetry, account/source status and optimizer access. Published repository release notes do not prove an individual installation has loaded that artifact. Keep a current HA backup and use the matching release notes for required actions.

Field reference

The tables use the current form labels and help text. They list the conditional field union: a field can be hidden for a different battery, provider, route or available integration. The instructions above explain those conditions. Existing saved/discovered values take precedence over fresh fallbacks. Rate units follow the provider; check the displayed currency/energy unit.
