Trains Attunement by walking a list of rooms and using PERCEIVE in each one. It stops once you've gained a set number of mindstates. It can also train Empathy with PERCEIVE HEALTH (Empaths only), or Scholarship with PERCEIVE SIGIL.
When training Attunement, Moon Mages and Traders don't walk. They stay in the room they're in and cycle through PERCEIVE MANA, PERCEIVE MOONS IN SKY and PERCEIVE PLANETS.
attunement_target_increment: 17| Setting | Default | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| attunement_target_increment | 17 | Stop after gaining this many mindstates in the skill being trained. It never goes past mindstate 34. A number on the command line overrides it for one run. |
The comment in base.yaml says it also stops at crossing_training_max_threshold, but the script doesn't read that setting. The cap is always 34.

| crossing_training_stationary_skills_only | false | Train Attunement in the room you're in, without walking. Health and sigil walks still walk. |

If there are no rooms for what you're training, either yours or your town's, it says "No room ids defined for..." and stops. No town has built-in sigil rooms.

There are no settings for these; this is what to expect.
- Works out which skill it's training and which rooms to use.
- Starts at the room it reached last time this session. If your room list has changed, it starts at the first room.
- For each room, until the skill reaches its target (or you've walked the number of rooms you asked for):
- Casts your
attunementwaggle set, if you have one, and walks to the room. - PERCEIVEs, trying up to 5 times if it doesn't work. For health walks it waits 10 seconds between tries, because PERCEIVE HEALTH has a timer.
- For sigil walks, it keeps perceiving until it finds a secondary sigil, or the game says the area has no traces of sigils or you've already identified its sigil.
- Casts your
- When it reaches the end of the list, it goes back to the first room.
| Argument | Purpose |
|---|---|
| number | Gain this many mindstates instead of attunement_target_increment. |
| rooms=n | Stop after walking this many rooms, for example rooms=5. |
| health | Empaths only: train Empathy with PERCEIVE HEALTH. For anyone else it's ignored and you train Attunement. |
| sigil | Train Scholarship with PERCEIVE SIGIL. |
| reset | Start at the first room in the list instead of where you left off. |
