Carve Settings
Carves one item from stone or bone (Engineering). It studies the recipe, takes your material and works it through every step the game asks for: cutting with a chisel or saw, rubbing with rifflers or a rasp, polishing, and assembling parts such as hilts, poles or cords.
workorders runs it for carving work orders. It doesn't buy materials, so have your stone or bone ready when running it yourself.
See Crafting Setup for engineering tools, toolbelts and books.

For bone, add your saw to carving_tools; the default list has no saw. If you've set engineering_tools, the cutting tool is looked up there instead of in carving_tools.
The rifflers, rasp, polish and your stamp are taken by name when a step needs them. Polish isn't restocked, so keep some on hand.
