Description

Traders: keeps track of how much mana is in each of your avtalia cambrinth items. It runs in the background, watches the game for cambrinth readings, and keeps each item's mana, capacity and the time of the last reading where other scripts can see them. combat-trainer uses this to draw mana from your avtalia instead of charging your cambrinth.

It doesn't send any commands itself; it only listens. It can also show the amounts in a window.

It isn't stopped by ;kill all or paused by ;pause all; use ;kill avtalia. When it stops, the readings are cleared.

YAML Settings

Your avtalia

avtalia_array:
- name: sturdy belt
  cap: 108
- name: steel scythe
  cap: 200
- name: cambrinth armband
  cap: 32
avtalia_window: false
Setting Default Purpose
avtalia_array Your avtalia cambrinth. Each entry has a name (its adjective and noun) and a cap (the most mana it holds). Without any, the script does nothing.
avtalia_window false Show the amounts in a window, one line per item: name: mana/cap. The window argument does the same. In Genie, open the avtaliaWindow window yourself.

An item is recognised by the first and last words of its name, so sturdy belt also matches a "sturdy leather belt". A one-word name matches that word.

How the readings update

There are no settings for these; this is what to expect.

  • FOCUS CAMBRINTH. Each item's line ("...pulses... N") sets its mana to N.
  • "Your ... pulses brightly with Lunar energy". The item is full, so its mana is set to its cap.
  • It checks for new readings every 10 seconds. Every item starts at 0 until it's been seen.

Between readings the numbers don't change on their own, except that combat-trainer lowers them as it uses mana. To refresh them yourself, FOCUS CAMBRINTH.

combat-trainer

cambrinth_invoke_exact_amount: true
dedicated_camb_use:

For Traders with an avtalia_array, combat-trainer:

  • Every 6 minutes, while your mana is below 90% and you aren't casting, FOCUSes CAMBRINTH to refresh the readings.
  • With cambrinth_invoke_exact_amount: true, when your mana is below 80% it takes a spell's mana from an avtalia item instead of charging your cambrinth. It picks the fullest item whose reading is under 10 minutes old, has enough mana, and (while your mana is between 60% and 80%) is at least 80% full. The Trader Tutorials recommend this setting to avoid nerve damage.
  • With dedicated_camb_use: spell, it also draws on avtalia for cyclic spells.

Keep avtalia running while you hunt. Without it, combat-trainer can't draw on your avtalia.

For script writers

The readings are in UserVars.avtalia, keyed by each item's name: { 'mana' => ..., 'cap' => ..., 'time_seen' => Time }. DRCA.choose_avtalia, DRCA.invoke_avtalia and DRCA.charge_avtalia (lich-5) use and update them, and only work while avtalia is running.

Argument Settings

Argument Purpose
window Show the amounts in a window, like avtalia_window: true.

Usage

;avtalia

;avtalia window

Autostart

It's meant to run all the time. Add it to the autostarts: list in your setup YAML:

autostarts:
  - avtalia

or add it with Lich's autostart command: ;autostart add avtalia.

Don't put it in T2's t2_before_startup list: T2 waits for those scripts to finish, and avtalia keeps running.
