Affine Court Client Template
One page. Every served tool. Your files as language games. A prompt that becomes a brief, a brief that becomes a sealed wasm module, a module that runs where you are standing.
Live: https://affine.earth/language-game/court-client.html Β· source: court-client.html +
court-client.js in the language-game bundle Β· brief template: court-client.brief.txt
(mirrored at clients/math-court-mcp/briefs/generic-wasm-ide-client.brief.txt).
Every number on this page was measured on 2026-09-02 against the live nine-cell apex from the page itself, driven in a browser. Where something is committed and not yet serving, it says so.
A delivery surface. It draws what the law produced and posts what you did. It computes no
verdict, holds no law and converts no number β every value travels as the decimal string you typed
or your file carried, so a float is refused by the cell, never rounded by the page. It is the
browser-JavaScript row of the language table in CLAUDE.md, and nothing more: the law is Swift on
the cell, the shell it can load is Rust #![no_std] wasm32, and this page is the glass between them.
tools/list β 51 tools β one button each, grouped into courts by name (Coding Court, Quantum & QMA,
Math Court, Corpus census, Exact geometry, Render & language games, Membrane & controller). Clicking
a tool renders a form generated from that tool's inputSchema β enums become selects, objects
and arrays become JSON boxes, everything else is a text field that posts a string. Nothing is
hand-listed, so a fiftieth tool appears the moment the cell serves it, and a tool the cell stops
serving disappears the same way.
Measured 2026-09-17 per cell on all nine A records: initialize β tools/list β 51 tools, HTTP 200; math_court {} β 50 domains; (read 49 and 49 on 2026-09-02 β the Coding Court's cs domain and two tools have joined since, and the count follows the fleet);
execute_exact_permanent on the all-ones 3Γ3 β WIN, energy_num 6.
Open files with the File System Access picker (or the plain file input, or drop them anywhere on the page). Rows are read as strings:
| file | becomes |
|---|---|
.csv / .tsv
|
header β fields; each row β one math_court ingest |
.json (array or `{rows |
data |
| any other text | each line β {line_no, statement}
|
.ll |
Code Court: code_ir_equiv against the previous .ll you loaded |
.rs / .swift / .s
|
the crucible artifact (source) |
.wasm |
the crucible artifact (a prebuilt module, posted as base64) |
You choose the domain and role from the live math_court catalog; the role's may_ingest
fields appear and you map each to a column or a constant. Then the game runs: one tools/call math_court per row, source attributed per row (court-client:<host>:<file>#<row>), tally of
WIN / MISS / REFUSED, cursor and tally persisted in the browser so reopening the same file,
domain and role resumes at the cursor. Pause and continue are buttons. That is the "long-running"
half: the page is the metronome, the cell is the court, and nothing is lost between sessions.
Measured, three-row CSV into geometry / cad_engineer (polytope_id, dilation):
| row | posted | cell said |
|---|---|---|
| 1 |
unit_square, 12
|
CALORIE |
| 2 |
unit_square, 1.5
|
REFUSED_FLOAT β the page posted the string 1.5 untouched; the cell refused it |
| 3 |
unit_cube, 3
|
REFUSED_POLYTOPE β not a polytope the court knows |
Two refusals out of three is the instrument working. A client that rounded 1.5 to 2 or dropped
the row would have turned a refusal into silence.
New facts and invariants enter the same way: a row is a fact, the domain's new_law (shown beside
the picker) is the invariant it is graded against, and expose, verify_jordan_bond and
lattice_op are one click away in the runner for anything that is a lattice rather than a table.
Type the coding requirement. The page fills the twelve-field ARTIFACT INGESTION BRIEF from the
template β the generic wasm IDE client brief, with your prompt appended to Purpose β and shows it.
The artifact is the caller's half: paste source, drop a .wasm, or copy the composed
tools/call and hand it to the MCP host that generates (Claude, Cursor, a CI agent β any of them
posts the identical call, which is the point of a headless court). Then execute_artifact_crucible
rules, and whatever it seals lands under Returned modules.
A returned wasm.module is:
-
digest-checked β the blob is decoded and re-hashed; a mismatch with the declared
sha256stops here, by name; -
magic-checked β the bytes must begin
00 61 73 6d 01; anartifact_kindis an assertion and the magic is a fact; -
instantiated β the module's declared imports are read;
box_camera.project_xandproject_yare wired toBoxCamerain the served law moduleAffineWasmClient.wasmthrough the same adapter the landing page uses (box_camera_project(x,y,z)then lanes 4 and 5 of the law's Int32 out buffer; a return other than 1 crosses the boundary asi32::MIN), so the cell raster and this canvas cannot project differently. When the law module is not reachable the import is a refusing stub β every call answersi32::MINand the shell parks the vertex β and the log says so; a stub never invents a coordinate; -
driven β if it exports the IDE shell contract (
get_code_buffer_ptr,set_code_length,validate_edge_code,ingest_intent_vector,get_frame_buffer_ptr,memory), the page writes your prompt into the 64 KB code buffer, asks the module to validate it as UTF-8, posts one intent vector under a monotonic sequence id, and paints the 600Γ600 frame onto the canvas. Any other module has its zero-argument exports listed and called.
Measured on the live apex, posting the served 4,946-byte affine_wasm_ide.wasm as base64 with the
template brief:
| step | result |
|---|---|
execute_artifact_crucible |
rung 7 CALORIE_AFFINE_ARTIFACT_DELIVERED, law_checked false (a posted module β the court says it did not scan source) |
| returned resource |
affine://artifact/affine_wasm_ide.wasm, application/wasm, artifact_kind wasm.module, 4,946 bytes |
| digest | recomputed in the page equals the declared sha256; bytes identical to what was posted |
| instantiate | imports box_camera.project_x, box_camera.project_y; exports the full IDE shell contract |
| drive |
validate_edge_code β 1, ingest_intent_vector accepted, frame painted on the canvas β 800 lit pixels with box_camera resolved to the served law module (725 with the refusing stub, cross-origin from a dev box) |
The brief declares Target Architecture: Rust no_std wasm32, because that is what the client
shell is. That value is committed and not yet serving: the fleet binary at the time of writing
knows three architectures and answers REFUSED_UNKNOWN_ARCHITECTURE for it, so the measurement above
was taken with the brief's architecture line read as Swift 6.4 ~Copyable. The fourth case lands
with the next binary roll, and this sentence is replaced by its per-cell measurement when it does.
umc_direct with domain coding starts a Universal Manifold Controller session under a
session_id the page keeps; umc_resume resumes it from the latest tip. Both are grant class
mesh: an anonymous call is REFUSED_GRANT_MESH_IDENTITY_REQUIRED (measured 2026-09-02), so the
page sends user_vqbit_hash derived by the one identity law it loads, GameNATS.userVQbitHash in
game-nats.js β byte-identical to the cell's β over the entity court-client:<session_id>. The page
carries no second copy of that hash. Measured 2026-09-02 through the page: umc_direct β CALORIE_GAV_LONG_PLAY, tip turn_index 3 Β· tau_height 3 Β· torsion 0/1 Β· amplitudes 3/5, 4/5, sealed to KV key coding.<session>.court-client and subject gaiaftcl.umc.state.coding.<session>.court-client; umc_resume β CALORIE_GAV_LONG_PLAY_RESUME, turn_index 4 Β· tau_height 7. These are the same two tools any MCP host can call.
Same origin, no configuration:
https://affine.earth/language-game/court-client.html
From anywhere else, point it at the apex (cross-origin calls go out as text/plain so no preflight
is needed; the membrane reads the JSON body regardless β measured HTTP 200):
court-client.html?mcp=https://affine.earth/language-invariant/mcp
?source=<attribution> sets the source the Math Court requires on every ingest.
Driving it from a script or an agent β the buttons call the same functions:
CourtClient.tools() // the live tools/list
await CourtClient.toolsCall(name, args) // any tool, args are strings
await CourtClient.addFileBytes(name, bytes) // load a file without a drop event
CourtClient.startGameFor(name); CourtClient.game()
await CourtClient.submitPromptBrief() // compose the brief, post the artifact
await CourtClient.instantiate(bytes, name) // digest-checked module β canvas-
Not a generator. The page does not write Swift, Rust or assembler. Generation is the caller's half and the court says so (
REFUSED_NO_ARTIFACT). The prompt box exists to compose the brief and the exacttools/call, so the MCP host that does generate posts the same call a CI runner would. - Not a second law. No projection, digest or quantiser lives here. The one hash it computes is SHA-256 over a returned blob, to check the court's own declared digest β a check, not a law.
- Not a verdict. WIN, MISS, REFUSED and the rung are read off the cell's reply and shown. The page never derives one.

Each step is the reason the next one exists. Nothing here is medical advice, and no page calls any medicine safe or unsafe.
1 Β· Why an exact safety screen at all
- Cures Without the Gatekeeper β the medicine front door: six real written medicines, one screen anyone can re-run
- The library admission law β what may enter, and the 71 arms that prove it refuses. The primary artefact.
2 Β· The three libraries, which grow rather than close
- The Library of Compound Cures β exact off-target maps for the medicines the registry publishes
- The Library of Proteins β 80,080 generated sequences, novel chemical matter, graded honestly
- The Library of Material Systems β what a system is, what was measured, where the law lives. C-007 absolute: no recipes
3 Β· The maps β every place a molecule could act, counted
- The off-target atlas β every nucleic-acid medicine the registry publishes a sequence for: WHERE it can pair
- The order of the bases β WHETHER THAT BURDEN IS UNUSUAL: 472 strands ranked against sixteen rearrangements of their own bases
- Where else could this guide cut? β the whole human genome, counted
- Designed, or forced by its own bases? β every clinical CRISPR guide, with its own composition as the control
- What a public genome deposit will tell you β and four ways it will mislead a health tool first
- Study 45 β which of nine billion answers a laboratory can act on β a safety review of AlphaGenome Atlas, measured live on 1,200 real variants at two genes. The headline score separates every one. The detailed tracks do not: splice-site usage hands back 950 of every 1,000 values shared with another variant at HBB and 998 at CFTR, and the shared values pile up in the quiet band where a bench clears a variant
4 Β· One medicine at a time
- Zilganersen β the first treatment for Alexander disease, screened on the real approved sequence
- A drug an AI designed β rentosertib for pulmonary fibrosis, and exactly what our instruments reach
- CAR-T, halted β the verdict a regulator could re-derive
- N-of-1 antisense β the only safety net at a population of one
- VERVE-102 β the off-target lattice a stranger can re-derive
- PM359 β prime editing, certified before anyone is dosed
- Del-Zota β the one safety question that can be made exact
5 Β· What keeps a disease alive, and what moves it
- Study 26 β master regulator bonds β 17 tumour types, 7,673 tumours; eleven compound pairs where no single agent among 20,308 cleared any
- Study 20 β Rife frequency β light and frequency, measured rather than dismissed
- Study 37 β five molecules β 37,910 "validated discoveries", 5 distinct molecules; why per-item validation cannot see a corpus-level defect
- Are the generated cures new? β 80,080 peptides against the human proteome
- Study 16 β disease type Β· Study 17 β chemistry InChIKey Β· Study 14 β protein lattice
- No language model in this stack β what the answers here are made of: measured 2026-09-12, no cell runs a model process, opens a model port or holds an unmasked model unit, and a gate refuses their return
- Run any study in your browser β all ninety programs open on your own device, forty-nine run there, and the run tells you whether it printed the sealed bytes
- The ontology β grades, terminals, controls, and what each page may say
- Zero Float Β· Zero Shear β the method in one page
- Ask someone you trust to check this β what to hand a sceptic
- Readersβ guide Β· Program index β all 42 studies Β· White paper Β· Roadmap
- The full-grade replacement β 49 retired instruments, 4 verticals
- The exactness seam β the business case
- Build a study β Falcon walkthrough β how to add one yourself
The same move every time: take a domain where a floating-point model is the accepted instrument, compute the same quantity in exact integers, and seal the cases where the two render opposite verdicts. The subject under grading is always the instrument, never the phenomenon.
- Study 48 β the atom already has an address β silicon dimers 3.840 Γ apart, the smallest commanded scale on the board: a length carried in single precision mis-addresses its first atom at step 8,783; an address cannot
- Study 49 β the phase code never needs Ο β a phase-only modulator takes 256 codes per pixel; the code is a ratio of integers
- Study 50 β CMS raw data from the LHC, read exactly β CMS's 2011 collision bytes streamed from CERN Open Data into the Affine IDE and read in exact integers, every collision a hologram you can turn: 138 of 3,564 bunch slots carry 93,110 of 120,742 collisions, and in 3,854 the event record reads its slot exactly 3 lower than the pixel boards Β· public release
- Study 55 β IceCube: the light in the ice, hit by hit β IceCube's calibrated hits read byte for byte: 4 published files, 9,749 events, 2,289,821 hits, a census seal per file
- Study 47 β translation shear: the meaning that survives a language β LAW FROZEN Β· LIVE CLAIM, measured 2026-09-11 and again fleet-wide 2026-09-12: translation as an exact coordinate transform, charts derived in memory at every start from the raw rows of a pinned public weight file and never written down; one lattice digest on 9/9 cells, zero drift, every refusal named. The generative comparison arm is ABSENT β there is no generative translator in the stack
- Study 34 β the observer-invariant verdict β why a safety verdict needs an exact law, not a bigger computer
- Study 35 β the safety brain that forgets β deaf in 8.4 seconds, forgets across machines, disagrees with itself
- Study 36 β the language game of Fermat's Last Theorem β guess and shear, or project
- Study 40 β the number the simulation throws away β their ICO result computed as a fraction; in float the effect returns 0 at every width, and an effect returned as zero cannot be searched for
- Study 41 β fifty years of solving the wrong problem β the ordering was never about time, it was about arithmetic; 177Γ the work and 2,400Γ the wrong guesses to return the answer the machine already had
- Study 42 β The Exact Contract β 2.7M flood settlements in Int128 cents; the step exists and the rigidity does not

- Where humans actually yield β the fatigue curves, and where the rules already agree
- Study 30 β sovereign edge pod Β· Manufacture contracts
- The detector that flags the whole market β a manipulation geometry in exact integers, and the regulator's own indicator scored against a legitimate quoter
- Study 43 β almost every order is cancelled, and that is normal β nine sessions, three operators, two continents: 935 to 998 of every 1,000 orders that ended, ended without trading. A check that flags almost everything is a denominator, not a detector β and the stock you pick moves it further than the exchange does
- Study 44 β nine billion answers, four billion ways to say them β AlphaGenome Atlas ships 9 billion predictions in single-precision floats, which hold 4.28 billion distinct values: 52 of every 100 variants MUST share a score with another. Agreement and exhaustion look identical on the wire
- Study 38 β the loss-reserve triangle β a reserve is an exact rational; 481 of 482 verdicts identical in both arithmetics; the sixteen-billion figure comes from an unchecked premise
- Study 39 β the actuarial domain β life, pensions, multi-state and aggregation; the margin is 8 significant digits at its tightest
