Triggered Actions

Triggered Actions

Tracks a per-actor triggered action resource that resets each round, so players and Directors always know who has triggered actions available.

How It Works

Each combat round, DSCT gives each tracked actor one triggered action token. An effect badge on the token shows whether the action is available. When the actor uses their triggered action, the badge clears.

Display Scope

Choose which combatants receive the tracker:

  • All combatants
  • Heroes only
  • NPCs only
  • Targeted tokens only

Auto vs. Manual Mode

Auto Mode: DSCT watches for triggered ability use and clears the badge automatically when the action is spent.

Manual Mode: The badge is managed by the Director. Click the effect on the actor to toggle it.

Reset

Triggered action tokens reset automatically at the start of each new round.

Notes

  • Triggered Actions does not enforce rules; it is a bookkeeping aid only.
  • The auto-tracking relies on ability use events from the DS system. Abilities triggered outside the system (via chat messages or macros) may not be detected.
