Undo System
Every forced movement posts a chat message with an Undo Movement button that fully reverses the move, restoring positions, reviving killed creatures, and re-establishing any grabs that were broken.
Visual coming soon: gif showing the undo button hover preview (blue highlight) and clicking undo to restore a token
After any forced movement executes, look for the chat message in the Chat Log. Click Undo Movement to reverse everything:
- The moved token is returned to its position before the move.
- If the token fell and died from fall damage, it is revived.
- If a grab was terminated because of the move, it is restored.
- If multiple tokens were moved in one execution, all of them are restored in reverse order.
The button is visible only to the GM and the player who initiated the move.
Hover your mouse over the Undo Movement button (without clicking) to see where the token will return:
- A blue highlight appears on the grid square(s) where the token was before the move.
- If the token died and became invisible, it is briefly revealed so you can confirm the restore target.
- The highlight fades after 1.5 seconds or when you move the mouse away.
The button becomes disabled and shows (Undo Expired) if:
- The token was deleted from the scene.
- The token was manually moved after the forced movement (position no longer matches where it landed).
- A subsequent forced movement was applied to the same token.
This check can be turned off in settings if you want the undo button to remain active regardless.
| Setting | Default | What It Does |
|---|---|---|
| Undo Expiration Check | Off | When on, disable the undo button if the token has moved since the FM ran |
