mcRPG is a Minecraft RPG plugin for Spigot and Paper servers, built on mcMMO. You train 19 skills just by playing: mining, chopping trees, fighting, farming, fishing, brewing and more. Higher levels make each skill stronger and unlock new abilities.
What makes mcRPG different is that nobody masters everything. Each player picks two Specializations, whole categories of skills that level much faster than the rest. Your choices shape what you're good at, and they're hard to undo, so players end up relying on each other.
Status: mcRPG 0.5.0 is the first beta. See the Changelog for what's new. Numbers on this wiki are the plugin's defaults; your server's owner can change them.
- Play normally. Every skill starts earning XP the moment you do its activity.
- Pick your Specializations with
/choosespecialization(or/csp). Until you do, every skill earns XP at 0.35× speed. - Open
/skillsto browse every skill, see your progress, and read how each one works.
The Getting Started page walks through all of this.
