Spears adds extra damage and bursts of speed to Minecraft's spears. Spears need Minecraft 1.21.11 or later.

Earning XP

Deal damage with a spear. XP is the health the target lost × the mob's multiplier × 10. See Combat XP.

Abilities

Ability	Unlocks	What it does
Spear Mastery	Level 5 (ranks at 5, 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90, 100)	+0.4 damage per rank, up to +3.2
Momentum	Level 1 (ranks at 1, 10, 15, 20, 25, 40, 50, 60, 80, 95)	Chance on hit to give yourself Speed III, from 5% at rank 1 to 50% at rank 10. It lasts 2 seconds per rank (20 seconds at rank 10).
Limit Break	Level 10 (a rank every 10 levels)	Up to +10 damage against armored players. See Limit Break.

Momentum's chance scales with your attack strength, so weak, spammed hits trigger it less often.

Tips

• Momentum keeps you moving in a fight: use the speed to chase, or to get away.
• Spears is in Melee Combat with Swords, Axes and Maces.
