Style sheet

Type: custom, tested in production (pass)

  • Medium phrase: "Hand-carved two-colour linocut print on thick cream paper, widescreen 16:9." Video anchor: "Hand-carved two-colour linocut print animation: flat black and [accent] ink blocks on cream paper with white gouge marks, crisp carved edges that shift in a stepped printed cadence, printed, not rendered."
  • Character design: every shape a flat ink block; fur, grain and texture carved as short white gouge strokes following the form; bare paper for white areas (chest, snow, cheeks).
  • Materials / rendering: exactly three tones (black ink, one accent ink such as rust-orange, cream paper); crisp carved edges with hand-cut raggedness; the accent misregistered a hair against the black; tiny uninked specks; faint paper embossing.
  • Light: flat printed tones, no cast shadows and no shading.
  • Motion: head turn, tail lift, carved snowflakes drifting; stepped cadence; one slow push.
  • Stability line: "Strictly a two-colour linocut print on cream paper, only black ink, [accent] ink and bare paper, crisp carved edges, stepped printed cadence, ink texture and paper embossing visible throughout, stable shapes that keep their carved outlines, consistent character drawing."
  • Guards: no extra colours, no gradients, no soft shading, no brush or pencil marks, no photorealism, no 3D rendering, no realistic fur texture, no live-action look.
  • Known failures: none in the test take (fox in a snowy pine forest). Flat and graphic, so very little to drift.
