Type: custom, tested in production (pass; reviewer note: "stunning")
- Medium phrase: "Acrylic painting in thick opaque paint on stretched canvas, widescreen 16:9, the canvas filling the whole frame." Video anchor: "Acrylic painting animation in thick opaque paint on canvas: bold saturated colour, confident brush and palette-knife strokes with visible ridges, hard clean edges between colours, a slight sheen, strokes that hold their place while the subject moves in a stepped painted cadence, painted, not rendered."
- Character design: bold shapes built from loaded single strokes (feathers as one stroke each), fat dabs for small bright features, one dot with a highlight for an eye; hard clean edges where colours meet, no blending.
- Materials / rendering: brighter and flatter than oil, heavier than gouache; visible ridges and brush texture, palette-knife scrapes, canvas weave in thinner areas, slight plastic sheen on the heaviest strokes, saturated high-contrast palette. Nothing drawn or outlined.
- Light: bright direct sunlight read as a hard-edged pale highlight stroke and a short solid dark shadow shape.
- Motion: a strut, a stop, one wing flap; stepped painted movement; one tracking move.
- Stability line: "Strictly thick opaque acrylic on canvas, bold strokes with visible ridges, hard clean colour edges, no blending, stepped painted cadence, canvas weave and sheen visible throughout, strokes that stay in place and do not boil, swim or re-paint, stable saturated colour, consistent painting of the subject."
- Guards: no outlines, no soft blending or glazing, no photographic textures, no digital gradients, no photorealism, no 3D rendering, no live-action look, no signage.
- Known failures: none in the test take (rooster strutting to a barn door).
